Allora non mi sono spiegato , so dove si regola e ho letto il manuale..... purtroppo non capisco la logica di funzionamento e proprio per questo vorrei capire come funziona.. , sul manuale non spiega un gran che...

Funziona un pò come tutti i buffer in informatica...più è grosso più il suo aggiornamento può essere meno frequente, più è piccolo più i dati saranno più "real time"...
A parte la questione tecnica, per poter abbassare la grandezza del buffer è necessario avere un computer veloce e non caricato da altre elaborazioni.

I valori che puoi impostare sono la grandezza in millisecondi del buffer, più il numero è grande più grande è il buffer e maggiore sarà il "ritardo" ma minore sarà il pericolo di interruzioni o problemi sull'audio.
Comunque c'è scritto sotto alla levetta nel tab audio...

How should I adjust the buffer size?

The latency (the time from which the DDJ-SX is operated until the sound is output) can be shortened by lowering the buffer size setting. If there are interruptions in the sound, increase the buffer size, but note that this makes the latency longer. Set the buffer size to the minimum value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.

For those using Mac OS:
The buffer size can be adjusted in the Serato DJ setup.

For those using Windows:
In the same way as at the buffer size setting in the Serato DJ setup, the buffer size can also be set by setting the kernel buffer number in the DDJ_SX ASIO settings utility.
Use the procedure below to set the buffer size to the minimum value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.
Check that no interruptions in the sound occur with the Serato DJ’s default setting (buffer size: 512 samples).

[If no interruptions in the sound occur with the default setting]
1. Set [USB BUFFER SIZE (LATENCY)] in the Serato DJ software to the minimum buffer size at which no interruptions in the sound occur.
2. Launch [DDJSX ASIO Settings Utility], change [Kernel Buffers] to [2], and check that no interruptions in the sound occur.
3. If no breaks in the sound occur, set [USB BUFFER SIZE (LATENCY)] in the Serato DJ software to the minimum buffer size at which no interruptions in the sound occur. If interruptions in the sound do occur, change [Kernel Buffers] in the [DDJSX ASIO Settings Utility] to [3].

[If interruptions in the sound occur with the default setting]
1. Launch [DDJ_SX ASIO Settings Utility] and change [Kernel Buffers] to [4].
2. Set [USB BUFFER SIZE (LATENCY)] in the Serato DJ software to the minimum buffer size at which no interrruptions in the sound occur.

in pratica piu' millisecondi ci metti, e piu' memoria usa
e piuì stabile diventa il sistema.
Un buffer piu' capiente non deve essere aggiornato cosi' spesso
e il processore se la puo' prendere piu' comoda.
Di contro c'e' che avrai un po di ritardi sui comandi
dovendo aspettare il momento che si aggiorna tutto, ogni volta che cambia qualcosa.
In parole povere :
se hai un sistema veloce, potente, ed efficente
puoi permetterti di rimpicciolire il buffer, i millisecondi, e la memoria,
guadagnando in reattivita'
Se il sistema e' lento, e perde spesso i colpi
puoi ovviare con un po piu' di latenza, aumentando il buffer.

Salve, ho un problema. Le ho provate tutta ma non funzionano più gli effetti che si possono utilizzare tramite le manopole. Come mai?

Hai provato ad aggiornare il firmware ed il software?!?

Usato serato. Ho provato ad effettuare tutti i tuoi passaggi ma nulla. Ho mandato un'email al supporto. Spero che qualcuno risponda.
