Hello,
The team has been working hard on an update for Cross PC/Mac and we now need more input and testing!
Changes from Cross 3 to Cross DJ Pro 4:
Complete skin redesign, with scaling support (i.e. retina/HiDPI display). Most elements can be hidden via the toolbar (to fit to your needs at any moment).
Reorganized settings and pages in preference window.
Direct access to play, analyse, and share from a playlist.
Optional dynamic BPM in autoplay (in-sync pitch shifting during Cross fade).
And more selectable automatic transitions in autoplay.
Sync between players can now try to double or halve BPM to avoid extreme pitching.
Keep last collection view and last loaded track between sessions.
Added 1/3 beat division for time related FX parameters.
Unified the often confusing snap and quantize features as a global quantize selection.
Added a notification center for tracking running analysis.
Players' waveform will zoom in when scratched using a mouse or touch screen (vinyl mode only).
Up to 4 simultaneously enabled FXs instead of 2.
Automaticaly set all cue points from analysis (optional, and it will not overwrite existing cue points).
Support for Bluetooth output on macOS has been fixed.
And many other small fixes and improvements.
New FX presets (final selection isn't yet done):
(listed here as "Preset name (base FX name)")
Backspin (ReverseBrake)
Basic Slicer (Tremolo)
Big Bright Hall (Reverb)
Classic Delay (Delay)
Clean High-Pass (HighPass)
Clean Low-Pass (LowPass)
Flangus Freezer Infinite Delay (Reverb)
Jet-Up (Flanger)
Low Phaser (Phaser)
Metalizer (Flanger)
Noise (Noise)
Reactor (Reverb)
Experimental features (that may not be present in final version):
Skin settings: change each player's color, export/import as a whole skin as xml and javascript files. It is possible this way, though it can be very hard, to completely redo the whole skin.
FX tweaker settings: tweak or create FX presets. A preset lets you specify each individual parameter curve of an FX for controlling it with 1 or 2 knobs.
